1,2-ICSRA
Also known as 1,2-intercompartmental supraretinacular artery
The 1,2-intercompartmental supraretinacular artery is a branch of the radial artery providing a vascular pedicle from the dorsal distal radius. The Zaidemberg graft (1991) harvests vascularised cancellous bone on this pedicle for scaphoid non-union reconstruction. Reported union rates are favourable for waist non-union but inconsistent for proximal pole non-union with established avascular necrosis.
