English: SNAC wrist (scaphoid non-union advanced collapse)

SNAC wrist describes the predictable degenerative sequence following scaphoid non-union: from radial styloid arthrosis (stage I) through scaphocapitate involvement (stage II) to periscapholunate arthrosis with capitolunate joint extension (stage III). The lunate–radius articulation is preserved until late, which is the anatomical basis for proximal row carpectomy and four-corner fusion as motion- preserving salvage options.
