proximal row carpectomy (PRC)
Polski: wycięcie szeregu bliższego nadgarstka Czytaj po polsku →
Proximal row carpectomy is a salvage option for SNAC wrist stages II–III in patients with intact lunate fossa cartilage and a viable proximal capitate. PRC preserves wrist motion better than arthrodesis and avoids the hardware complications of four-corner fusion. It is favoured in older, lower-demand patients; younger high-demand patients may be better served by four-corner fusion.
