Lunotriquetral ballottement test

Also known as Reagan test lunotriquetral shuck test ballottement test

Reagan's test for lunotriquetral ligament injury: the examiner stabilises the lunate with one hand and displaces the triquetrum and pisiform dorsally and palmarly with the other; pain, crepitus or excessive laxity is positive. Against arthroscopy it is about 64 per cent sensitive and 44 per cent specific. Kleinman's shear test loads the same joint by pushing the pisiform dorsally against a stabilised lunate.
