The Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation captures wrist-specific pain (5 items) and function (10 items) on a 0–100 scale, with lower scores reflecting better outcomes. The minimal clinically important difference is approximately 11 points. PRWE is the standard primary outcome in modern scaphoid trials, including SWIFFT and its five-year follow-up.
