trans-scaphoid perilunate injury

Polski: uraz okołoksiężycowaty przezłódeczkowy Czytaj po polsku →

Trans-scaphoid perilunate injuries occur in the greater arc of Mayfield's perilunate dislocation pattern. They combine a scaphoid waist fracture with disruption of the perilunate ligamentous complex. Urgent closed reduction is followed by CT and combined operative fixation of the scaphoid (headless compression screw) with repair or augmentation of the perilunate ligaments through a dorsal or combined dorsal-volar approach.
